Automatic Rollup awnings are fantastic for heat weather and privacy protection.
These awnings can be operated by hand to stop at any given point. The awning retracts into a protective weather box when not in use. The reason why these awnings are called ‘automatic’ is because if the wind is blowing hard enough directly onto the awning, it pushes in the self-locking arms and will retract itself upwards.
There are different size arms which are UV-treated black polymer on metal. The arms can be fitted out further from the face of the guide rod fixing to allow more air flow. Our arms are available in 150mm, 300mm 450mm and 600mm lengths. The guide rods are zinc-plated gold and are attached to the face which allows and guides the awning to be set anywhere within the rod guide’s limits. The guide rods are also available in 316 marine grade stainless steel at an extra charge for close proximity to salt water. The bottom rail is a heavy duty extruded aluimiumn five-sided powdercoated extrusion. Most systems on the market are made out of tin and will corrode, unlike our selections.
